Bacteriological testing of food grade starches and consumer products. Analytical duties involving the chemical and physical testing of starch and starch products in the Plant Process Control Laboratory.

Supervised twenty-seven (27) staff and co-ordinated quality control chemical and bacteriological testing of milk and milk products from the production line of a regional dairy. Collate analytical data and report to the Manager of the dairy.

Conduct routine analysis of sugar and sugar products. During 1966 assisted senior chemists in research projects- using paper and column chromatographic techniques, auto analysers and AAS techniques.
